The specification model of the channel steel is expressed by "waist height * leg length * waist thickness", the unit is millimeter (mm), and the major specification is often expressed by "(waist height /10) #". For example, "200*73*7" means 20# channel steel, which has a waist length of 200mm, a leg length of 73mm, and a waist thickness of 7mm. The specifications of waist height 140mm and above are also distinguished by a, b and c according to different leg length and waist thickness, and the specifications and unit weight a<b<c, the length of each channel steel is usually 6m. Channel steel is often used in steel frame structure, curtain wall engineering, mechanical equipment and vehicle manufacturing, support and other fields.
